There are some photos, which are assumed to be from Vijay's 42nd birthday on the sets of his upcoming movie, doing rounds online. But now, it turns out that the pictures were actually taken from music director Santhosh Narayanan's birthday.

Celebrity PR Ramesh has confirmed it and tweeted, "Confirmed with @KeerthyOfficial - These r not #Ilayathalapathy B'day celbrn pix.. These r frm @Music_Santhosh b'day! [sic]" He further added, "#SanthoshNarayanan 's wife #MeenakshiSanthosh uploaded these pix on FB this morning while wishing #Ilayathalapathy. [sic]"

Ilayathalapathy Vijay reportedly has a special plan for his 42nd birthday. The buzz is that the actor is celebrating his birthday with his family members in the U.S.

It was earlier reported that the actor will be busy shooting for his upcoming movie, which is currently being referred to as "Vijay 60." It had been learnt that the actor would not be celebrating the day with much fanfare. 

Now, the latest reports claim that the actor's plans have undergone some change and he will now be celebrating the day with his family members. He will be spending two weeks in the U.S.

However, the fans of Vijay are all set for the special day. Like usual, they will reportedly take part in social welfare activities.

On the other hand, many single screens have special screening of Vijay's hit films. In Chennai, Vijay's blockbuster "Kaththi" will be played at 9 a.m. at Rakki Cinemas, while GK Cinemas will screen the same film at 7.15 p.m. Vettri Theatre has planned to screen "Pokkiri" at 6.30 p.m.

Many theatres across Tamil Nadu will play his hit films. 

Meanwhile, Vijay's next movie is progressing at a brisk pace. The film was started in May and the team is now canning important portions in Hyderabad. It is helmed by Bharathan and bankrolled by Vijaya Productions. It has Keerthy Suresh playing the main female lead, while Aparna Vinod will play the second fiddle.

On the other hand, the online fans of Vijay are ready to celebrate the day by trending multiple topics on social networking sites. On Twitter, they have started wishing the actor well in advance with the hashtag #VijayBirthday.

Music director-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar has joined them in wishing the actor as he tweets, "Advance happy birthday to THE NEXT SUPERSTAR of Tamil cinema undoubtedly ..... Ilayathalapathy @actorvijay. [sic]"
