In the past few weeks, actor-cum-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and the team of "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal" has appeared in various television shows to promote their recently-released romantic comedy entertainer.

During the last weekend, Udhayanidhi appeared on a popular chat show and responded to a variety of questions posed by the host. He was asked to pick the heroes in his order of preference if he had to produce a new film.

Udhayanidhi took Vijay's name first, followed by Suriya, Ajith, Dhanush and Simbu. Udhay has already claimed that he is a big fan of Vijay and had produced Vijay's 2008-release "Kuruvi" under his Red Giant Movies banner.

He had also produced Suriya's "Aadhavan" (in which he made a cameo appearance) and AR Murugadoss directorial "7aum Arivu" under his popular banner. However, Udhay has not produced any of Ajith's, Dhanush's or Simbu's films, though he had distributed a few of them including "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya." It remains to be seen if the actor-cum-producer will get any opportunity to produce the films' of these popular stars of south cinema in the near future.

Meanwhile, Udhay's latest release "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal" has opened to a good start at the box office. The film has received good feedback from critics as well as the audience. It is expected to perform well in the coming days and rake in good collections.

Even as "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal" is still in running in theatres, Udhay has moved on to his next project "Nanbenda", co-starring Nayanthara and Santhanam. The film will be directed by Jagadish and will be produced by Udhay.
