Vijay-Murugadoss's "Kaththi" is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. There has been lot of buzz doing the rounds ever since the film went on floors.

What we hear the latest is that the audio launch of "Kaththi" will take place in a grand manner in the UK. A source told Deccan Chronicle that the audio release will happen in the UK and the film will be released by Sun Pictures. However, there are no details about the date as to when the music launch will happen. An official announcement is still awaited in this regard.

"Kaththi" music is composed by Anirudh, the youth sensation who is riding a wave with big hits like "3", "Vanakkam Chennai", "Velai Illa Pattadhaari" and the latest "Maan Karate."

This is the first time that Anirudh is working with director Murugadoss and Vijay. The music composer has already completed scoring three songs for the film and recently finished the fourth one as well. Anirudh himself had confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.

The shooting for "Kaththi" is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is likely to be wrapped by August after which the post-production work will begin. The Vijay starrer will have Samantha, Sathish and Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles.

Vijay is reportedly appearing in a dual role in the film, directed by Murugadoss. This is the second time the actor-director duo has teamed up post the success of "Thuppakki," which hit the screens in 2012 and turned out to be a big hit.

Expectations are high for "Kaththi," which is touted to be an action-packed entertainer. The film's cinematography is handled by George C Williams, while editing is done by Sreekar Prasad. The Vijay starrer is produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions.

"Kaththi" is gearing up to hit the screens for Diwali, on 23 October 2014.
