The much-awaited trailer of Vijay's "Jilla" is all set to be released on 7 January.

Confirming the news, actor Jiiva tweeted, "Jilla trailer will be released tomorrow! Thnxx for ur patience!"

Jiiva's father RB Chowdary is producing "Jilla" under his Super Good Films banner. Film's music composer Imman has also confirmed in his twitter page that the trailer will be released on Tuesday.

The Vijay starrer is one of the most-awaited films to hit the screens in 2014. "Jilla" is anticipated not just in Tamil Nadu, but also in Kerala as Malayalam actor Mohanlal is one of the main leads in the Tamil flick.

Directed by RT Neason, "Jilla" is touted to be a commercial entertainer with lot of action sequences in the film. It has Kajal Aggarwal, Poornima Bhagyaraj and Mahat Raghavendra appearing in significant roles.

"Jilla" has received a clean "U" certificate without any cuts from the censor board. After the certificate was received, the makers of "Jilla" released a small teaser on the occasion of New Year. The teaser went viral on the net surpassing the 10-lakh mark. Close on the heels of the first teaser, the makers released a second one which showed Vijay and Mohanlal bashing the baddies with "Jilla" theme song playing in the background.

Fans are now eagerly waiting to see "Jilla" trailer which is set to release tomorrow. The trailer is expected to give us a glimpse of what to expect from the film.

The Vijay starrer is confirmed to release on 10 January, as a Pongal treat for fans. The actors's 2012-release "Thuppakki" was a massive hit at the box office and reportedly earned more than ₹100 crore. However, his last release "Thalaivaa", which had a delayed release in Tamil Nadu, failed to set the cash registers ringing.

Now, all eyes are focussed on Vijay's upcoming film "Jilla." It remains to be seen if action entertainer will be able to surpass "Thuppakki" collections. It could be a difficult task for the film considering that it will be facing strong competition from Ajith's "Veeram", which is releasing on the same day.
