Vijay 61: Ilayathalapathy's third role in Atlee's film revealed

Rumours of Vijay playing triple roles in his next movie with Atlee Kumar have been doing rounds for some time now. People had speculated about two characters, while the information about the third was not known.

Now, the reports on his third role are out claiming that Vijay's third character is of a magician. The earlier rumours were that Ilayathalapathy was enacting the characters of a village head and a doctor (father and two sons). 

However, the makers of the movie nor any member of the untitled flick, which is presently being referred to as Vijay 61, has confirmed the news about any of the three characters.

Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen have been signed to romance Vijay's three characters. SJ Suryah will be doing the role of a villain. Vadivelu, Sathyaraj and many others are part of the cast. 

It is said to be a revenge thriller revolved around poor medical facilities in the country. Sri Thenandal Films is bankrolling the film.

The first look and the trailer of Vijay 6 will be released on the actor's birthday on June 22. The movie has AR Rahman's music, GK Vishnu's cinematography and Ruben's editing.

While the audio will be out in August, the movie will hit the screens in October on the occasion of Diwali.
