Nayanthara, who is one of the top actresses in south India, seems to be on the verge of bagging a biggie! The actress is reportedly in talks with the makers of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's next film.
The buzz says that Nayanthara has been approached to play the female lead in Vijay's next with Altee Kumar. Although there is no update on whether she has the required number of dates for the flick, it is believed that she would try her best to work with him again after a gap of seven years.
Nayanthara and Vijay were last seen together in her former boyfriend Prabhu Deva's film. Their chemistry had worked well in the flick. It may also be recalled that she had done a cameo in Ilayathalapathy's Sivakasi.
It was recently reported that Kajal Aggarwal was approached to act in the film, which is presently being referred to as Vijay 61. It now looks like the actress is out of the race.
Coming to Nayanthara, the actress has been part of several hit films in last two years like Thani Oruvan, Maya, Naanum Rowdydhaan and Iru Mugan. Her next big project is Kaashmora, which star Karthi. She is also working on female-centric projects like Dora and Imaikkaa Nodigal, which has Atharvaa in the lead.
On the other hand, Atlee is reportedly giving final touches to the script. It will be his second movie with Vijay after hit flick Theri. The upcoming film is expected to commence once Vijay wraps up the shooting of his next film Bairavaa, which will hit the screens in January 2017.
