Ilayathalapathy Vijay is getting ready to give a double delight to his fans April 14. The release of his much-awaited "Theri" and the muhurat of his next project will take place on the same day.

According to a report on Indiaglitz, the upcoming movie, which is currently referred to as "Vijay 60," will be launched April 14. It was Ilayathalapathy who asked the makers to hold the muhurat of his next film on the occasion of Tamil New Year.

The makers of "Vijay 60" have agreed to the actor's request and plan to shoot a couple of scenes on the first day of the shooting. However, it will be a very short schedule. The movie unit will take a long break before commencing its next schedule.

As per the report, the regular shooting of "Vijay 60" will begin only after the general assembly elections. The makers are expected to formally announce the news in the coming days.

"Vijay 60" is written and directed by Bharathan, who had earlier directed Vijay in "Azhagiya Tamizh Magan." The movie had not done very well at the box office. But it has not stopped the actor from accepting this film.

Bharathan has finalised his cast and crew for "Vijay 60." Keerthy Suresh, who mesmerised the audience with her performance in "Rajini Murugan" earlier this year, will be romancing Ilayathalapathy in the film.

Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu has been roped in to play the role of a baddie in the forthcoming movie. It may be recalled that he was earlier seen in the antagonist's character in the Rajinikanth-starrer "Lingaa". Daniel Balaji will be also playing a character with negative shades in the film, which is bankrolled by Vijaya Productions.

The Tamil movie will showcase Santhosh Narayanan's music, Sukumar's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing. Vairamuthu will compose most of the songs.
