Video: Vicky Kaushal asks Katrina Kaif to marry him, watch Salman Khan's reaction

Year 2018 has been a year of newcomers and smaller budget actors to make their presence felt. While Ayushmann Khurrana's films made headlines this year for their explosive, out-of-the-box content, Vicky Kaushal proved that he is as much a mainstream actor as he is a parallel cinema's one.

With his power-packed roles like 'Kamli' in 'Sanju' and 'Vicky' in 'Manmarziyan'; the actor has reached a new level of fan following and adulation. And, with his upcoming film – Uri – based on India's surgical strike on Pakistan, the actor is expected to steal major awards this year.

Even on Karan Johar's coffee couch, many celebs ranked Vicky Kaushal much higher than many other established celebs. Katrina Kaif too seems to have been smitten by Vicky's magnetic screen presence and gravitas. Katrina Kaif had revealed on Karan's show that she would like to star opposite Vicky Kaushal and work with him someday. When Karan Johar had revealed the same to Vicky on the show, he pretended to have fainted upon hearing the news.

Recently, Vicky and Katrina Kaif together at an award show, where as per the script, Vicky asked Katrina to marry him. He tells her "aap kisi ache se Vicky Kaushal ko dhoondh karke shaadi kyun nahi kar leti." He also sings Salman Khan's popular number – Mujhse Shaadi Karogi – for Katrina Kaif.

While Katrina Kaif looks a bit surprised and embarrassed at the proposal, it is the reaction of Salman Khan sitting amongst the audience with his sister Arpita Khan that takes the cake. The camera keeps panning onto Salman Khan and upon hearing Vicky and Katrina's conversation, Salman pretends to have fallen asleep on Aprita's shoulders, missing all the conversation.

Well, that's kind of expected from Salman, right?
