Dilip Kumar's health deteriorated on Wednesday and the veteran actor has now been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Dilip Kumar is reportedly suffering from a chest infection. The actor complained about feeling uneasiness, following which he has been admitted to the hospital, according to ANI.

The news has also been confirmed from the official Twitter handle of Kumar. The tweet has also mentioned that Kumar is responding well to the treatment.

"Saab has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He's recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers. -FF [sic]," the tweet read.

As soon as the news broke, social media users posted a series of tweets wishing for his speedy recovery.

Earlier in the month of August last year, Kumar became critical as he had reportedly suffered a kidney failure. However, he had responded well to the treatment back then.
