Actor Varun Sandesh got engaged to his "Paddanandi Premalo Mari" co-star Vithika Sheru at a function held at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad on 7 December.

Reports suggest the engagement ceremony of Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru was a strictly private ceremony. Close friends and relatives of the couple were present on the occasion. Soon after the event, the actor posted a photo his Twitter handle and confirmed the news about their engagement. Varun just wrote, "ENGAGEDDD!!! :-) :-) :-)"
Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru met each other on the sets of their first film "Paddanandi Premalo Mari". The couple fell in love and decided to take their relationship to the next level after dating for a few months. They got approval for their marriage from their parents. Having got engaged in Hyderabad, the duo is reportedly set to tie the knot at Bhimavaram in West Godavari.
The rumours about Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru's affair were did the rounds for quite some. The couple put all speculation to rest by announcing the date of their engagement on their Twitter handles on 30 November. The "Happy Days" actor had tweeted, "Getting ENGAGED on DECEMBER 7th to the LOVE of my LIFE @IamVithikaSheru :-) #HappyDays God Bless!!! (sic)"
Vithika Sheru had written, "We are so blessed to announce the date of our engagement on December 7th... #HappyDays #engagementofVV (sic)"
Later, she had added, "My fiancé @iamvarunsandesh is down with TYPHOID and DENGUE!!Hope he gets better by December 7th PLS PRAY FOR HIM #hospitalised. (sic)"
Varun Sandesh has recovered from typhoid and dengue and was discharged from the hospital. On 4 December, he expressed sadness over the heavy rainfall in Chennai, tweeting: "Out of d hospital n Readin al d news bout Chennai is rly saddenin.. Will do my best to contribute in whichever way I can.. #ManaMadrasKosam. (sic)"
"Paddanandi Premalo Mari" was been directed by Mahesh Upputuri and produced by Nallapati Ramachandra Prasad. The film released on 14 February 2015 and it did decent business.
