"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev has moved on from her split from Austin Stowell and is currently said to be dating Scott Eastwood. The couple sparked rumours of romance after they were supposedly caught flirting last weekend at Coachella.
The two have been friends for a while, but it's only now that they are thinking of pursuing a romantic relationship as both of them are single, reported HollywoodLife. "Nina and Scott are friends that flirt and like each other a lot," the source explained. "They have known each other for a while but the timing was never right. Now that they are both single they have time to see where things might go for them," the source continued.
At present, their relationship isn't serious, but Dobrev hopes it would turn into something meaningful later on, noted the website. "They have sent some flirty texts since Coachella and are working on plans to see each other again," the source explained. "She hopes sooner rather than later."
If these rumours are true, then this is Dobrev's first relationship since splitting from Stowell in February. The pair apparently called it quits after their busy schedules made it difficult for them to be with each other.
It remains to be seen how much time Dobrev and Eastwood will be able to spend with each other, as the actor will soon get busy with the eighth installment of the "Fast and Furious" series and Dobrev is currently filming for "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" in Toronto. Interestingly, Eastwood was also in Toronto earlier this month. "Peace out #Toronto Great city. Great people. On way back home. But it is not immediately known if he and Dobrev met up while the actor was there.
Before Stowell, Dobrev was involved with her "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder. Although they called it quits in 2013 after dating for three years, and Somerhalder is now a married man, a good number of fans are still holding out hopes for their reunion.
