The censorship of the much-awaited Simbu movie, "Vaalu", is complete. Much to the delight of the actor's fans, the movie has got a clean "U" certificate from the Censor Board.

The censorship of the movie "Vaalu" had created headlines and became a trending topic on Twitter and other social networking sights.

Meanwhile, the lead actor Simbu and music composer Thaman shared the news through their Twitter pages and congratulated the whole team.

With the Censor Board paving way for the movie, the Simbu-Hansika starrer would hit screens on 27 March. The movie will now lock horns with Karthi-Lakshmi Menon movie "Komban".

"Vaalu" is directed by debutant Vijay Chander. Although the movie has been delayed for quite some time, it is one of the most awaited movies of Simbu. It is the first time that the actor has been paired opposite Hansika Motwani and audience got a glimpse of their chemistry with the release of the trailer.

The movie is touted as a romantic action flick and the trailer had a mass feeling to it with its dialogues and one-liners. The comedy combination of Simbu and Santhanam in the trailer have garnered some highly positive responses while the general audience expect some good comedy from the duo's side.

The cast also includes VTV Ganesh, Aditya and Salim Ghouse.

The music is composed by Thaman while the cinematography is handled by Shakthi and the editing by TS Suresh. The film is produced by SS Chakravarthy under the banner of Nic Arts.
