Ahmedabad, Sep 17 (ANI): US Consul General, Peter Haas, in Ahmedabad said that United States is to relax visa rules to make it easier for Indians to apply. Earlier, India had protested a US law that raised visa fees for high-skilled foreign workers as a violation of global trade commitments. The law almost doubled visa fees for skilled workers to $4,500 per applicant. Haas said number of visa applications had grown by seven percent this year. He said US government___s goal was to increase the amount of travel, especially in the field of business.
