New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): US Deputy Secretary of State, William J Burns, met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday in New Delhi to strengthen diplomatic ties. Earlier, Burns had met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and said that Barack Obama looks forward to Indian PM Modi’s visit to the White House in September for a spur in economic growth. Burns arrived in India ahead of the US-India Strategic Dialogue as US Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to visit India on July 31. It is highest level official visit from US to India since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government assumed office on May 26.
