Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the application for 2015 Central Armed Forces (Assistant Commandants) written examination to be held on 12 July.
The written examination is for the posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
UPSC has a total of 304 tentative vacancies for all the above positions. Each post has different number of vacancies; BSF has 28, CRPF 94, CISF 37, ITBP 107 and SSB 38, according to UPSC website.
The application for any of the above posts can be filled on Union Public Service Commission. The submission of the application for Central Armed Forces will be closed at 11:59pm on 15 May 2015.
