Srinagar, Aug 27 (ANI): Opposition parties in Jammu and Kashmir created uproar in the state assembly on Wednesday over tabling of the resolution seeking Indo-Pak talks. Peace dialogue between India and Pakistan suffered a setback following Islamabad's decision to consult Kashmiri separatist leaders ahead of the foreign-secretary level talks between the two south Asian neighbours. President of Ruling Party of Kashmir, National Conference (NC), Devender Singh Rana, said that he was ashamed of the behaviour of certain political parties. India called off the bilateral dialogue with Pakistan, which was scheduled for August 25, after Islamabad's envoy Abdul Basit courted Kashmiri separatists ahead of the foreign secretary-level talks.
