Muzaffarnagar, Sep 11 (ANI): A local court in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday refused to take cognizance of the chargesheet filed against BJP President Amit Shah for the alleged hate speech made by him. While returning the chargesheet to the police to amend the errors, the court said that the police cannot file a chargesheet under IPC Section 188. The court further explained that the complaint should be filed as a private complaint by the concerned officer who had imposed prohibitory orders which were violated. Shah was booked by the UP Police for delivering hate speeches in UP during the election campaigns of the recent Lok Sabha elections. While addressing a rally in Muzaffarnagar, Shah was reported saying that it is the time to seek revenge by casting votes for BJP.
