Undress Me

A few months back, experimental director and American Film Institute alumnus Tatia Pilieva charmed the internet world with a delightful video, in which the first kiss shared by 20 strangers were captured.

Shot in black and white, the video was an online sensation and managed to capture the hearts of several romantics. With the help of her cinematographer husband Andre Lascaris, the support of Melissa Coker, the founder of clothing company WREN, and 20 of their single friends who volunteered to take part in the project, "First Kiss" was launched on Style.com on 11 March.

In an article she wrote for the Huffington Post, Pilieva mentions how she would never forget the true vulnerability among the kissers on set.

"They were so kind to one another... Those behind the camera were almost as giddy as those before it... By the day's end, we couldn't have been happier. We had witnessed a beautiful side of people. If no one had ever seen this small film, we would still be proud."

And following the success of this venture, the makers of tv drama series "Masters of Sex", which returns this Sunday, approached Pilieva with another novel idea - to get strangers to undress each other in front of a camera.

"I asked strangers to undress each other and get in bed. Nothing else. No rules," Pilieva explains on the video's YouTube page.

"Undress Me" captures some great moments, portraying both the squirminess and the sexiness of stripping each other. From the guy who rips his partner's pants as she laments "these are my favourite trousers!" to the girl warning her partner "my hands are going to get really sweaty when I'm nervous", the film accurately depicts the emotions of excitement and anxiety which comes with getting naked with someone you don't know.

Pilieva tweeted that she was delighted to hear that the strangers sought out each other's phone numbers after the shoot.
