Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Confirms Release Date, Slated for 18 March; Offers Details of the Collector's Edition

Developer Naughty Dog's action-adventure video game, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will grace PlayStation 4 on 18, March, 2015. Sony revealed the details of its two special editions on its PlayStation blog - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Libertalia Collector's Edition.

The Special Edition will also include a Blu-ray disc, collectible steelbook case designed by Alexander laccarino, a hardcover art book running 48 pages from Naughty Dog and Dark Horse, sigil sticker sheet of a Pirate and Naughty Dog and Naughty Dog Points that can be redeemed only to unlock multiplayer content and character upgrades. The edition will cost $79.99.

Players ordering the Collector's Edition will be getting things including a 12-inch Nathan Drake Statue from Gentle Giant. It will also have three multiplayer outfits - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heist Drake and desert Drake outfits, three custom weapon skins - Golden Weapon Skin, Snow Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin, sigil ball caps of Henry Avery, Thomas Tew and Adam Baldrige, Madagascar Sidekick outfits, Phurba Dagger Taunt and a dynamic theme of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. This is on the expensive side since it is a Collector's Edition and will cost $119.99.

There will be two digital versions - Digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.

Players who pre-order Digital Standard Edition from PlayStation Store will get a digital downloadable version of the game, two multiplayer outfits - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Heist Drake, two custom weapon skins Golden Weapon skin and Snow Weapon skin. Phurba Dagger Taunt and Naughty Dog Points.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will be consisting of all the things that have been mentioned in the Digital Standard Edition, and also will have additions like Desert Drake multiplayer outfit, desert weapon skin, Thomas Tew and Adam Baldridge, Uncharted 4 Triple pack that will consist of future access to single players story add-on and two multiplayer packs that will enable players to unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items and finally two instant unlockable multiplayer customisation items. It will cost $79.99.

Sony also said that players will be able to purchase Uncharted 4 Triple pack separately costing them only $20 more. Discounts will be available for players upgrading to Digital Deluxe Edition, provided they have pre-ordered the game through PlayStation Store.

Further, for US Uncharted series fans, other retailers too are offering them rewards, namely –

• Pre-ordering at GameStop will reward players with the Multiplayer Booster Pack that will instantly unlock a variety of one-time use multiplayer boosts and The Phurba Dagger Taunt.
• Pre-order at Amazon will reward players with Snow Camo weapon customisation and the Desert Drake outfit multiplayer customisation.
• Pre-ordering through PlayStation Store will land players with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End dynamic theme and the Desert Weapon customisation.
