Video game "Uncharted" kicked up fan frenzy when some retailers issued copies of the upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Sony, the publisher of the game, has clarified in a message by Shuhei Yoshida, president, Sony's Worldwide Studios that a "number of copies" of the game "were stolen while in transit."
The message further claimed that police have been involved and a criminal investigation has been launched into the same. He also noted that some copies of the game "had surfaced" in the U.K.
"An extremely talented team has worked long and hard to bring Nathan Drake's greatest adventure to life and we would urge you to help us prevent this from being spoilt by not purchasing copies of the game ahead of the launch date," said Yoshida.
Many players were frustrated given the fact that some people received the game even before it was released.
Meanwhile, more details on the game have been leaked. Twitter user AllGamesDelta revealed that the game will have a 5GB first day patch, which will feature bonus features, fixes and improvements.
"Uncharted 4" is expected to be released on May 10, exclusively for PS4.

More leaks have affected the "Uncharted 4" video game. The leak revealed that there are a total of 56 trophies (1 Platinum, 6 Silver, 32 Bronze), with a total of 17 hidden trophies.
