New Delhi, Nov 07 (ANI): Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti on Friday appealed for mass contribution towards saving water and its resources in the country for sustainable development. Bharti raised this issue while delivering a speech at National Convention of Water Users Association in Indian capital New Delhi. Factors such as increasing usage, poor infrastructure, and pollution have led to a decline of water quantity and quality in India. Climate change, meanwhile, is expected to cause a two-fold impact. Bharti also termed water scarcity as a hindrance in the development of the country.
