Splinter Cell: Blacklist patch 1.03 released.splintercell.ubi.com

Ubisoft has released a new official patch, named Patch 1.03, for its stealth action game Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Patch 1.03 fixes various issues in the game. It offers support for 3+ GPUs and 16:10 aspect ratio. Various other improvements on the gameplay, UI, audio and game controls have also been addressed in the update.

The update has improved the algorithm of the Online mode and has ensured that players, who are blocked cannot join the games. It will also fix the game's engine processor affinity, while other general optimisations are also included.

Blacklist, released in August, allows players to control the protagonist, Sam Fisher. Fisher has to eliminate the designs of a group of terrorists, who have the sole objective of destroying American assets around the world, if the country does not call back the troops.

Ubisoft had previously announced the Homeland DLC pack for the game, which includes two co-op mission maps, new gear and gadgets. The pack is available for $6.99.

Blacklist is powered by Unreal Engine 2.5 and was released for PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

(Note: The patch will download automatically, when players launch the game)
