TVS Motor Company has added a special edition to its Jupiter portfolio in India as part of the scooter model's one year celebration in the country.
The special edition Jupiter, which will be sold in the country only in limited numbers, has been priced at ₹48,925 (ex-showroom Delhi), ₹2,000 higher than the regular model of Jupiter available in the market.
Coming to the features of the new Jupiter, it is distinguishable by its Stallion Brown body colour with beige inner panels; there is also a 'limited edition' dome sticker on the front panel.
Besides, the special edition Jupiter gets 'Dura Cool' seat which, according to the company, retains a temperature as much as 10 degrees lower, when parked under direct sunlight, compared to normal seats.
As for the engine, the special edition packs the same 4 Stroke, single cylinder, air Cooled 109.7cc engine which can churn out a power of 5.88 KW @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 5.88 KW @ 7500 rpm.

Launched in September, 2013, TVS Jupiter had an amazing journey in India selling over 3 lakh units. It is not sure how many of the special Edition will be sold in the country; however, it is believed that the new model is already available at the dealerships across the country.
