It has been 12 years since "Tujhe Meri Kasam", which marked the acting debut of Bollywood couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, was released on 3 January 2003.

Helmed by K Vijaya Bhaskar and produced by Ramoji Rao, the film was a remake of Telugu film "Nuvve Kavali" directed by Vijaya Bhaskar, which was the remake of the Malayalam super hit film "Niram" directed by Kamal. The Hindi version also had Shriya Saran in a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, Riteish and Genelia, who tied the knot with each other, on 3 February 2012, have welcomed their baby boy Riaan on 25 November, at a private hospital in Mumbai.

Soon after Riteish and Genelia posted a tweet with the hashtag #12YearsOfTujheMeriKasam on Saturday, fans have started congratulating the Bollywood couple for their remarkable debut film.
