On Friday, Esha Deol, who is still grieving the loss of her beloved father and legendary actor Dharmendra, took to social media and expressed her desire to take a break from the platform for some time.
She revealed that due to unfortunate circumstances, she had kept several work commitments on hold for a while; however, she now plans to share them in the coming days.
Taking to the Stories section of her Instagram handle, Esha wrote, "I had kept a few work commitments on hold for a long time, which I would be posting & sharing with you all now in the coming days."
She added, "Please understand me as a human & most importantly as a daughter who is still grieving the loss of her most loving, precious father. A loss I would never get over."
She concluded, "If I had things my way, I would wish to not be on this platform for some time and just take a break. But I can't do that. So try & be kind and understanding. Thank you for the love & support always... love you all."
Soon after, she shared a reel from a photoshoot. A few hours later, Esha Deol took to social media again to share a BTS video from her late father Dharmendra's upcoming film Ikkis.

In the BTS clip, Dharmendra is seen asking for forgiveness if he had ever hurt anyone, even unintentionally.
"I'm a bit happily sad today, the last day of shooting. I love you all; if I made any mistake, please forgive me," Dharmendra said.
He was also seen urging audiences from both India and Pakistan to watch Ikkis. Expressing his happiness about being part of the film, Dharmendra added, "I'm extremely happy to be in Mandav Films. The team, the captain, Shriram ji — it was done in a very nice way."
Sharing the heartwarming video, Esha wrote, "He is the best. Love you, Papa."
Earlier, Dharmendra's elder son Sunny Deol had also shared the same video on social media, captioning it, "A smile that lit up the darkness. Generosity without limits. Love for my papa is deeply rooted in our hearts. He has blessed us with his final film, Ikkis. Let's celebrate him in movie halls this New Year."
Talking about Ikkis, the final film of Dharmendra's illustrious career, the movie is directed by Sriram Raghavan and is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, one of India's youngest Param Vir Chakra awardees, who was martyred during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of 21.
The lead role is played by Agastya Nanda, and the film also marks the debut of Akshay Kumar's niece, Simar Bhatia.
