British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is reportedly planning to bring a new Street Triple to India in early 2017. While there is no clarity about which of the variant of the Street Triple is coming to market next year, it is being said that it will be an all-new version.

Triumph is expected to unveil the new Street at the upcoming EICMA motor show in Italy in November this year. A report of CarandBike notes that the Street triple coming to the Indian market next year is expected to carry an 800cc displacement engine. Other details of the new Street Triple are scarce at this point of time.

Recently, Triumph has expanded its India portfolio by adding the Bonneville T100. The Bonneville T100 has been priced at Rs 7.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In this calendar year, Triumph has also brought the Street Twin, Bonneville T120 and Thruxton R to the Indian market.

The most recently added Bonneville T100 takes design cues from Bonneville T120 and comes loaded with premium features such as the Ride-by-Wire technology, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and USB charging socket. It also has twin clock instrument cluster, which houses gear position indicator, odometer, trip settings, service indicator, clock and fuel level and traction control settings. It comes powered by a 900cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 54hp at 5,900rpm and 80Nm of torque at 3230rpm mated to a five-speed transmission.
