It is only a matter of days before "Transformers: Age of Extinction" rolls out into theatres, and the movie has managed to stir up quite a bit of buzz.

The movie stars Mark Wahlberg as a mechanic who discovers Optimus Prime's body and revives him. While Peltz plays his role of his daughter, Jack Reynor plays her love interest.

Here are five interesting reasons why the film is a must watch--

Almost Three Hours of Action.

The movie is said to have a runtime of almost three hours, and director Michael Bay has promised that it is going to be packed with a lot of action.

The new autobots

The movie sees Prime and Bumblebee teaming up with a number of new autobots, who have all been given stronger characters.

For instance, Drift is a samurai-inspired helicopter voiced by Ken Watanabe. Drift uses his chopper blades in the form of swords when it transforms into a robot, and he is guaranteed to provide a lot of action.

Hound is an overweight character who is addicted to cigars.

" He's literally got every gun known to mankind. He's grizzled. He'll fight when you tell him to fight, and he's fighting down to the very, very, very last round of every gun,all the way down to a little Swiss Army knife.[laughs] He's a really funny character ," Bay told Collider.

"I wanted to give them stronger characters. I wanted to focus on just the few robots and give them much more character… Yeah, even Optimus feels different. Bumblebee feels different."

Nicola Peltz

Nicola Peltz, the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner, plays the role of Wahlberg's daughter in the movie. Although Peltz is still in the early days of her career, she recently said in an interview that "Age of Extinction" brings up sweet memories as she grew up in a house where her oldest brother played with Transformers toys.

Lockdown- the Robot Villain

The villain in "Age of Extinction" is Lockdown, whose task is to hunt down autobots and murder them. Mark Ryan is the voice of Lockdown in the "Age of Extinction," and his task in the movie appears to be to track down Optimus Prime.

"You think You're the center of the universe? You think you're born. You're built and they want you back," Lockdown tells Optimus Prime in the movie.

Sword-Wielding Optimus Prime Rides A T-Rex

One of the most-awaited scenes in the action sequence  in "Age of Extinction" is a sword-wielding Optimus Prime riding bareback on a robotic T-Rex, fulfilling producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura's assurances that some familiar characters will be "bigger and badder-ass than they have ever been."

Transformers: Age of Extinction rolls out into theaters on June 27.
