There has been no dearth of information and spy shots of the upcoming Innova Crysta since its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016 in February. The Innova Crysta, the new avatar of the Innova MPV in India is all set to enter the market on May 3 and the unofficial bookings are open in the country.
While most of the details about the powertrain and the features are already out, the auto world sill has no clarity on the variants and colour options of the model. It looks like now that also has been confirmed. While a report of AutoCar India says that the Innova Crysta will be offered in five trims -- 2.4 GX MT, 2.8 GX AT, 2.4 VX MT, 2.4 ZX MT, 2.8 ZX AT â€" across three variants, Oncars.in reported that the MPV will be available in six body shades: Attitude Black, Dark Gray Mica Metallic, Alumina Jade, Silver Metallic, Avant Grade Bronze and Super White.
The new Innova Crysta has already started arriving at the dealerships of the company across the country and the model has been spied numerous times in its camouflaged avatar and in its completely revealed avatar, with the latest one being a fleet of Innnova Crsyta parked at a dealer stock yard. In terms of dimensions, the MPV measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The features list of the Innova Crysta includes automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, a 7-inch audio with navigation, cruise control and electrically-adjustable driver seat.
Under the skin of the new Innova are 2,755cc and 2,393cc diesel engines. While the 2,393cc diesel engine will develop 148bhp of power and 243Nm of torque, the 2,755cc mill will churn out 172bhp and 360Nm of torque. The transmission will be taken care of by a six-speed automatic and a five-speed manual gearbox. Toyota Innova Crysta will also get safety features such as airbags, electronic stability control and ABS.
