Attarintiki Daredi

Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi", which released in September 2013, was one of the biggest hits of the year. Despite facing piracy issues, the family entertainer opened to a fantastic response on the first day of its release.

The film created several new records in India as well as in overseas markets. "Attarintiki Daredi" raked in ₹34.67 crore (share) in its opening week at the Andhra Pradesh box office and its worldwide week 1 collections stood at ₹47.27 crore. The Pawan Kalyan starrer takes the top spot in the list of Telugu film with highest worldwide week 1 share, according to AndhraBoxOffice.

Yevadu

Ram Charan's "Yevadu" has taken the second spot after "Attarintiki Daredi" in the top 10 list. The action-packed entertainer, which released on 12 January 2014, has made a rocking business at the box office.

The film earned ₹30.51 crore (share) in its first week at the AP box office and its worldwide week 1 collections amount to ₹36.77 crore.

"Yevadu" is expected to continue its good run at the box office for another few days until big Telugu films hit the screens.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC)

Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh's 2013-release "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" was the first big hit of 2013. The film, which released during the Sankranti festival last year, did good business at the box office.

After "Dookudu" and "Businessman", Mahesh Babu scored a hat-trick with "SVSC". The family entertainer minted ₹25.25 crore in its opening week in AP and ₹33.5 crore at the worldwide box office.

Baadshah

After back-to-back flops, Jr NTR gave a big hit in "Baadshah", a commercial entertainer directed by Srinu Vaitla.

"Baashah", which released in April 2013, earned ₹24.5 crore in its opening week at the Andhra Pradesh box office. The Jr NTR starrer takes the fifth spot in the list of top Telugu films with highest week 1 share in AP, next to Pawan Kalyan's "Gabbar Singh".

However, "Baadshah" performed better than "Gabbar Singh" at the worldwide box office. The film overtook "Gabbar Singh" and grabbed the fourth spot in top 10 Telugu films with highest worldwide week 1 share by minting ₹32.6 crore.

Gabbar Singh

Pawan Kalyan's 2012-release "Gabbar Singh" did exceptionally well at the worldwide box office. The action entertainer, a remake of Hindi film "Dabangg", earned ₹32 crore in its first week at the worldwide box office.

Naayak

Ram Charan's "Naayak", which released along with "SVSC" during Sankranti last year, also performed well at the box office. Despite facing strong competition from "SVSC", "Naayak" did good business and turned out to be a hit. The film raked in ₹29.5 crore (share) in the first week at the worldwide box office.

Ramayya Vastavayya

"Ramayya Vastavayya" was the second release of Jr NTR after "Baadshah" hit the screens in 2013. As "Baadshah" turned out to be a hit, expectations were sky high for "Ramayya Vastavayya" but the film failed to live up to the hype. However, the action entertainer took a good opening on the first day of its release and also posted a decent total at the end of the first week.

The film fetched ₹28.6 crore (share) in its opening week at the worldwide box office.

Racha

Ram Charan's "Racha", which was released in 2012, earned over ₹28 crore in the opening week at the worldwide box office. The film has taken the eight spot in the list of top films with highest week 1 worldwide share.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CGR)

Pawan Kalyan's "CGR" released amid huge expectations after the stupendous success of "Gabbar Singh". Although the film failed to live up to the hype, it hit some decent figures at the box office.

"CGR" raked in ₹27.9 crore in its opening week at the worldwide box office.

Julayi

Allu Arjun's "Julayi", an action comedy entertainer by Trivikram Srinivas, minted ₹27.5 crore in its opening week at the worldwide box office. The film takes the 10th spot in the list of top films with highest week 1 worldwide share.
