Since both the much-awaited consoles - Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 - have been released, some of the new fps (first person shooter) games can be seen coming to the retail stores next year.

Following are some of the top fps games that gamers might want to get hold of.

Titanfall

Titanfall is a popular game title that was earlier an Xbox One exclusive. However developer Respawn Entertainment announced that the game would now reach PCs as well.

The game is a robot-combat title, in which the gamer has to operate large robots to fight rivals by sitting within the robot. One can even come out and fight if needed to.

The videos reveal that players in the game would also get a jetpack for smoothly handling obstacles, while chasing.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order is another fps title for which the gamers are eagerly waiting. Created on Rage's game engine, the title is said to deal with an alternate reality, where the Nazis develop the A-bomb before the US.

The game takes place in the 1960's London, patrolled by giant killer robots, and the gamer is the only one who can stop it, according to Gaming Bolt.

The game is a mix of vintage and sci-fi twist infused into a Nazi world and it hopes to make a mark over its previous iterations.

Dying Light has been developed by Techland, which is better known for its much popular title Dead Island. The game is a first person zombie game, which slightly resembles Dead Island.

The title's main theme is survival during the night time, where the gamer has to perform various missions fighting with zombies on the way. The game also includes customisation of weapons and a multiplayer mode of up to 4 players.

From the gameplay video one can make out that a lot of free-run climbings and brutal killings are included while performing missions.
