The year 2013 witnessed several big budget films starring popular Telugu heroes turning out to be big hits.

Films such as "Attarintiki Daredi", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", "Naayak", "Baadshah" and "Mirchi" did some fantastic business at the box office, both in India and the overseas markets. Unfortunately, some big films such as "Ramayya Vastavayya", "Bhai", "Greeku Veerudu" and "Shadow" failed to click at the box office.
