Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger Zinda Hai will undoubtedly be one of the biggest releases of 2017. Slated for a December 22 release, the movie saw its advance booking start on Sunday, suggesting that it will witness a massive opening at the box office.
While the Indian theatres are already filling fast in advance, a fan from Nepal tweeted that the theatres there, too, show 80 percent occupancy. Also, Gulf theatres are filling fast. Salman and Katrina's magic is set to charm people on this Friday for sure.
In fact, fans have already declared that Tiger Zinda Hai will be a blockbuster. Salman's previous movie Tubelight failed to win hearts this year, but the superstar is set to say goodbye to this year with a hit movie.
With so much craze around Tiger Zinda Hai, the movie is likely to beat Sultan's opening collection. The 2016 blockbuster, starring Salman and Anushka Sharma, had collected Rs 36.54 crore net at the domestic market on its first day.
Salman and Katrina's movie has already created a lot of curiosity among fans. They were last seen together in the first instalment of the franchise — Ek Tha Tiger — which was also a blockbuster hit. Ek Tha Tiger earned Rs 32.93 crore on its first day. If the first instalment earned such a big amount, Tiger Zinda Hai will definitely be closer to Rs 40 crore on its opening day.
