Dharamshala, Oct 23 (ANI): Members of Tibetan Parliament in-exile in Dharamshala extended Diwali greetings to all Indians on Thursday. Speaker of Parliament in-exile Penpa Tsering said that Tibetans also have a lighting of lamps ceremony which is to commemorate the birth of the founder of Gelupa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and the ceremony is very similar to the Diwali celebrations that take place in India. Home Minister of Parliament in-exile Dolma Gayri said that Diwali is a festival of India and hence all the people who live in India along with the tourist who visit India during this time can enjoy and be part of this festival.
