Bengaluru, Feb 07 (ANI): Thousands of Christians carried out a candlelight march and peace protest in Bengaluru against continuous attacks on churches in New Delhi. After the evening mass, a candlelight vigil was held, which saw participation of at least 2,000 people, as they pressed demands for government's protection amid concern about rising intolerance after a series of attacks on churches. CCBI President Cardinal Oswald Gracias expressed anxiety over series of attacks on Christian community and prayed for peace and harmony in the country. National capital has witnessed five attacks on churches from December last year to January, the latest being on the St Alphonse Church in Vasant Kunj area which was vandalised and desecrated by unknown persons.
