Poonch, Sep 11 (ANI): A major landslide in Poonch district of Kashmir trapped many and rendered thousands homeless. The landslide, attributed to heavy rains, has disconnected the area from the rest of the state and is posing a major threat to relief and rescue operations. Indian Army, which is carrying out rehabilitation and restoration work in the valley, say work is in progress on a war footing to restore the line of communication. Meanwhile, Army constructed an iron bridge in Poonch district of the state after the previous bridge, an important connectivity, was damaged by the floods.
