Looks like we'll get to see that much-talked about "Planet Hulk" storyline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after all. Latest reports around the plot of "Thor: Ragnarok" indicate that the film will merge "Planet Hulk" and the "Ragnarok" story arcs from the comic books.

According to a post on JoBlo, "The film will definitely have the Planet Hulk element in it, operating as a kind of mash-up with the Ragnarok story." The website adds that Thor's mission in the film involves finding "the ultimate weapon to stop Ragnarok and reset the universe." Could this "ultimate weapon" be the Time Stone â€" one of the Infinity Stones referenced in earlier Marvel films? Well, that remains to be seen.

Elaborating on the "Planet Hulk" storyline, the post adds: "How Thor ends up on the planet in question is unclear, but he will definitely be involved in some gladiatorial games run by none other than Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster. In terms of Hulk's appearance in this portion of the film, he will be rocking the one-shoulder armor as seen in the comics, so expect him to be decked out in the familiar Planet Hulk look."

Teasing a new look for Thor in the film, the site stated that, "expect a major change in the look of The God of Thunder as he will be sporting a shaved head (but not completely bald) for at least a portion of the film."

Sounds pretty exciting, although no official confirmation about this storyline has been made as yet. Starring Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, among others, "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
