United States President-elect Donald Trump is infamous for churning out incorrect information through his posts on Twitter. Sometimes he contorts the facts and presents them as absolute truths and at other times he contradicts even himself.

The string of his, sometimes factually incorrect, tweets make it difficult to keep up with the validity of his statements. Considering this, the Washington Post has come up with a new Google plugin which fact-checks the US President-elect's tweets in real time.

The plugin called "RealDonaldContext", when downloaded, shows real-time commentary next to Trump's tweets stating his earlier claims and facts regarding his posts. The plugin is spearheaded by the Post's political team at The Fix and provides context to Trump's tweets and relevant information.

The plugin has already started fact-checking some of Trump's recent tweets. The team behind the plugin says they will continue providing commentary and information beside the Republican billionaire's new tweets in almost real time.

One classic example of his tweet lies is claiming that "millions of people voted illegally" in the 2016 US election which made him lose the popular vote to opponent Hillary Clinton. Trump had tweeted, "In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally." His tweet was shared by thousands of people within minutes, however, many were oblivious to the information that he had no evidence of the illegal votes cast on such a large scale and the tweet appeared more of a conjecture.
