Salman Khan's "Dabangg 3" has been dragged into an unnecessary controversy. London-based model Pearl Raah has been sending out topless photos and scandalous pressers claiming to have been considered for the third installment.

A friend of the superstar told BollywoodLife that none of what the model has to say is true and that putting out sleazy pictures only means she's desperate for attention. The insider even said that contrary to Pearl's statements, Salman has no idea who she is.

This news comes after director-producer Arbaaz Khan announced that the cast and crew will begin with the film ("Dabangg 3") sometime next year. "Next year we will start working for 'Dabangg 3.' Right now, Bhai (Salman Khan) is busy with some of his projects like Sultan and others. So 'Dabangg 3' is in queue. I cannot say the exact time, but next year for sure," Catch News quoted him as saying.

The idea of continuing the franchise was there all along. On the sidelines of "Dabangg 2" promotions, Salman had said that the next one will be a prequel and focus on Chulbul Pandey's growing up years.

"We have our third film ready and it will go back and show how Chulbul Pandey becomes Chulbul Pandey. If the second one becomes a hit, we can go to the third one, which is actually the first one. So Dabangg 3 will be a prequel," he had told IANS.

Meanwhile, Salman is busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's "Sultan," in which he plays a wrestler based out of Haryana. The 50-year-old actor has been training with professional fighters to master their body language well. Anushka Sharma plays his love interest. Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh feature in key roles.

Scheduled for an Eid release, it may clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees."
