The Ministry of Defense has selected the best contingent and the best tableau in the Republic Day parade held on the Rajpath in New Delhi Jan 26.
The Indian Air Force contingent was selected as the best marching contingent while the tableau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development was adjudged the best.

I. Best marching contingent among the three services - Indian Air Force
Ii. Best marching contingent among paramilitary forces and other auxiliary marching contingents - Border Security Force (BSF)
Iii. Best three tableaux
First- Ministry of HRD (Dept. of School Education and Literacy)
Second - Goa
Third - Karnataka
IV. Best school children items
(i) Govt. Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Hastsal, New Delhi
(ii) North Central Zone Cultural Centre, Allahabad
