The 20th Commonwealth Games came to an end at Glasgow with some breathtaking performances from Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue, Scottish pop band Deacon Blue and Jessica Mauboy on Sunday at the Hampden Park.
Minogue made headlines on the final day and entertained the 45,000 spectators present at the Hampden Park. The Australian pop star put the crowd at their feet in the closing ceremony of the games that has been termed as the "best ever".
Glasgow passed the games' baton to Australia, where the next edition will take place in 2018. Gold Coast will organise the 21st Commonwealth Games but now the Australian city has high standards to match.
