Director Vishnuvardhan has cleared rumours around his upcoming movie. Earlier, there were rumours that Ajith will join him for his new movie. Now, the director has denied the gossips and said that 'Thala' is not part of his new movie.

"Amid reports that Ajith would join hands with Vishnuvardhan again, the director has cleared the air, saying that no such idea is in the pipeline as of now. He however said he would prepare a script for Ajith, if the 'Thala' wishes to work with him again," reported Indiaglitz.

Ajith and Vishnuvardhan had earlier partnered together for blockbuster movies like "Billa" and "Arrambam". The director is currently looking forward to the release of his movie "Yatchan", which stars Arya in the lead.

According to reports, Arya will portray a character who is an ardent fan of Ajith in "Yatchan". The director had said that the script demanded Arya to play a character like that.

Meanwhile, Ajith is currently busy with a movie that is tentatively known as "Thala 56", directed by Siruthai Siva. Ajith, as per some sources, will play the role of a common man whose life revolves around his sister, played by Lakshmi Menon. Shruthi Haasan will play the lead role opposite him in the movie.

The shooting of the movie had kickstarted on 7 May and the makers of the film are planning to release the movie for Diwali. The film is expected to be a yet another mass entertainer as the makers have roped in Stunt Silva to choreograph stunts. The film also has Soori and Kabir Singh in the supporting cast.

The music of the upcoming movie is done by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by AM Rathnam, who had recently produced Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal".
