Vijay's "Kaththi" Meant for Ajith?

Tamil actors Ajith and Vijay have been dominating the twitter world for the past several hours, thanks to their fans.

Ever since the announcement on Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" teaser release was made, #YennaiArindhaalTeaserStormOnDec4 has been trending on the micro-blogging site. The much-awaited teaser was released at midnight on 3 December and has taken the internet by storm.

The video has received tremendous response from fans and is expected to clock 1 million views soon. It gives viewers a glimpse of what to expect from the film, but does not reveal much about the story. The video has generated curiosity around the film's content and it needs to be seen if the finished product will impress the audience.

While Ajith fans were trending the teaser release on twitter, Vijay fans were not far behind. The actor's fans started trending the hashtag #VIJAY_22YearsOfGloriousJourney as he completes 22 years journey in the film industry on 4 December.

Vijay has so far completed 57 films in his career and has delivered several hits including "Poove Unakkaaga," Kaadhalukku Mariyadhai," "Priyamanavale," "Ghilli," "Thirumalai," "Nanban", "Thuppakki" and "Kaththi" among others. Of these films, "Thuppakki" and "Kaththi" have surpassed the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Despite several new actors joining the industry, Vijay has managed to hold on well and stay on top. The actor is popular among the masses and his films take grand openings at the box office.

Ilayathalapathy, as he is fondly referred by his fans, has kick-started his next project with director Chimbudevan.

The film, tentatively titled as "Vijay 58," is touted as the biggest film (in terms of budget) in Vijay's career. Produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens, "Vijay 58" is reportedly being made on a budget of around ₹90 crore. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

After completing his current project, Vijay will move on to his next project to be directed by Atlee of "Raja Rani" fame. The film will reportedly have Vijay donning the cop's role. Complete details about the film, cast and crew are expected to be revealed only after Vijay finishes his current assignments.
