Vivek Oberoi has joined the shooting of his next movie, which is presently being referred to as Thala 57. The movie, which stars Ajith as the hero, is presently being shot in Bulgaria.
"Vannakam Bulgaria! Not a sight we would see in Mumbai or Chennai...loving this beautiful snow! #Thala57. [sic]" Vivek Oberoi tweeted the video to confirm that he has reached Bulgaria. The clips shows the city covered with snow. However, he has not revealed anything about the role or film.
It is said to be a lengthy schedule, which will last for over 50 days. The majority of the shooting will be wrapped up in this schedule.
Thala 57 marks the debut of Vivek Oberoi in Tamil. He is playing the role of a villain in the upcoming flick. He has a powerful role equivalent to Ajith.
"I am starting to shoot again for my first Tamil film with the one and only superstar Ajith. I call him Ajith anna. I am really excited to play a really kick-ass role with him," the Bollywood actor had told the media recently.
After the success of Veeram and Vedalam, Siruthai Siva is teaming up with Ajith for the third time. Their earlier two movies were set in the rural backdrop. But the latest flick is an urban-centric film.
The movie had hit the floors in August and the shooting plans have gone as per the makers' plans. The filming is expected to be wrapped up in January 2017.
The upcoming movie is a spy thriller in which Ajith plays the role of an investigating officer. Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan are the two female leads in the film, which also stars Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and Rajendran.
