The Europe schedule of Ajith's forthcoming movie, which is presently referred to as Thala 57, has been completed recently. The team reportedly wrapped up the schedule much earlier than planned which has saved a lot of money for the makers of the flick.

Thala 57 was formally launched on 6 July, but the regular shooting commenced only in the first week of August. The makers had reportedly planned to shoot the film in over 50 days in Europe. But the team managed to wrap up the shooting in just 32 days, say reports.

The buzz is that the support from the entire team and especially the cooperation from Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal helped them to wrap up the filming well in advance. The speed with which the team worked has amazed the industry insiders.

The latest reports suggest that the Thala 57 unit is getting ready for the next schedule of the film and it is likely to begin later this month.

Siruthai Siva is collaborating with Ajith for the third time, after Veeram and Vedalam. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the movie, which is expected to be released in April 2017. Thala 57 is a spy-thriller, which will be majorly shot in foreign locations.

Ajith essays the role of an investigating officer and Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan are playing the female leads in the movie, which is produced by Sathyajyothi Films. Thambi Ramaiah, Appukutty, Rajendran and others are in the cast.

The film has Anirudh Ravichander's music, Ruben's editing and Vetri's cinematography.
