The first look of Kajal Aggarwal in Ajith's next movie, which is presently being called "Thala 57" or "AK 57," is going viral online. It is reported that the picture was clicked on the sets of the upcoming Tamil movie in Europe.
Kajal Aggarwal is seen in a blue sari in the photo, which gives a hint that the actress may be playing a homely character in "Thala 57." It has to be noted that the 31-year-old actress is pairing up with Thala for the first time.
She is said to be playing the role of Ajith's wife in "Thala 57." Kajal Aggarwal recently left for Slovenia to join the first schedule of the film's shooting.
The actress has also bagged Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback movie "Kathilantodu," which is the remake of the blockbuster Tamil movie, "Kaththi," which starred Vijay and Samantha.
Journalist Haricharan Pudipeddi tweeted, "Despite three back-to-back disasters, #KajalAggarwal is the heroine in demand as she bags #Chiru150 after #Thala57. She's on a roll. [sic]"
Coming back to "Thala 57," the shooting of Siruthai Siva-directed film began on Aug.1 and the makers have planned a 40-day shoot in the exotic locales of Europe. The makers are currently filming important portions featuring Kajal and Ajith in Slovenia.
The "Thala 57" unit will return to India in September and the second schedule will commence in Chennai. It is believed that the makers plan to wrap up the shooting in the next six months so that the film is ready for release in April 2017.
Meanwhile, the makers are yet to finalise the actors who will play other major characters. Reports say that two top names will feature in key female lead roles.
Anirudh, Anthony Ruben and Vetri have been signed up to handle the music, cinematography and editing departments, respectively.
