Nithya Menen, Sridivya considered to play role of Ajith's sistersFacebook

With the shooting of Ajith's "Thala" to kick-start in few days, speculations regarding the star cast of the flick are flying thick and fast. There were many rumours about who will play Ajith's sister in the movie. Names of actresses Vidhyulekha Raman and Bindhu Madhavi did the rounds for some time, even as sources dismissed them as false.

The latest names now being rumoured to play Ajith's sister's role are that of "Ok Kanmani" actress Nithya Menen and "Kakki Sattai" heroine Sri Divya.

Nithya had recently played the supporting role of Upendra's sister in the latest Telugu movie "S/O Satyamurthy".

However, most of the critics claimed that the movie did not offer enough for the talented actress to display her calibre as her role had very little to contribute to the script. It would be interesting to see how the actress does justice to the role of Ajith's sister in the upcoming movie if she is chosen.

At the same time, Sri Divya is now turning out to be one of the most sought-after actress in the Tamil industry. The actress hit gold with her latest flick "Kakki Sattai" opposite Siva Karthikeyan. The young talent is currently busy shooting for "Bangalore Days" Tamil remake along with Rana Duggabati, Bobby Simha and Arya.

Meanwhile, Ajith is expected to join "Thala 56" on 20 April and reports suggest that the actor will be seen in a completely fresh look in the movie. It will also have Shruthi Haasan playing the lead opposite Ajith for the first time and the flick will reportedly have one more heroine as the lead.

"Thala 56" is touted to be a a metro-centric flick and will be directed by Siruthai Siva who had previously directed Ajith's "Veeram".
