Kabir Singh, who is entering Kollywood with Ajith's upcoming movie "Thala 56", has joined the shooting of the movie.
The actor himself announced the news on his Facebook page. He wrote, "Finally the day has come off to #chennai for my first awaited #tamil film with superstar #thalaajit and director #siva. Thank you so much for your love and support my dear friends n thanks for this picture. Thank you god. Thank you radha sir. Cheers!"
Kabir Singh is playing the role of a baddie in the movie and he is very excited about it. The actor will be part of one schedule of the shooting and will work non-stop to complete his portions. Other details about his role are yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, the "Thala 56" unit has wrapped up its first schedule in Chennai. The major portion was shot on a set erected at Binny Mills. The second schedule will be shot in Kolkata. Ajith, Shruti Haasan and many others are part of this schedule.
"Thala 56" is an action-packed family drama. The movie will have a lot of emotions and comedy. Ajith has reportedly asked the director to have fun elements to make it a fun-filled entertainer.
The film is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by AM Rathnam.
