After a busy three-month schedule, the "Thala 56" unit is getting ready to wrap up shooting of the film. The only portions remaining for filming are the climax and two songs.
The buzz has it that Siruthai Siva has kept his promise to the producer and has almost completed the shooting of the film in time. Now, the team is busy shooting at a private hospital in Chennai. Soon the team will be filming the climax.
Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon will be part of the climax that would require a day to film. The team is apparently awaiting the dates of both the actresses. This will pave the way for shooting for the songs.
Already, three tracks have been shot. The intro song, Ajith and Shruti Haasan's romantic number, filmed in Italy, and a sentimental track involving Ajith and Lakshmi Menon, have been filmed. The post-production works will begin soon after the completion of the shoots.
The movie was launched on 9 April. But the regular shooting could only start in May. "Thala 56" has been filmed in Chennai, Kolkata and many other places.
The Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon starrer movie will be released during Diwali. The team has worked at a rapid pace to meet the shooting deadlines. With three more months to go for the festival, the team has enough time to work on the post-production work and promotion.
"Thala 56" is being directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by AM Rathnam. Kabir Duhan Singh, Ashwin Kakumanu, Soori and others are in the cast. It is a family entertainer with the regular dose of action, comedy and sentiment.
