Thai students hold umbrella protest in solidarity with Joshua Wong after detention and deportation
A group of Thai students protested on 5 October after activist Joshua Wong was detained and deported back to Hong Kong. Wong was invited to speak at Chulalongkorn Universitys Faculty of Political Science about Hong Kong’s ‘Umbrella Movement’ and his pro-democracy political party.
