Rafael Nadal has played some wonderful tennis in 2017, while both Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic have struggled. However, the Spaniard believes Murray and Djokovic will be back playing their best tennis soon.

Nadal has been in his element so far, reaching the finals in three major hard court competitions. But he lacked the edge to cross the finishing line.

Now, the clay court season is upon us. Nadal could not have imagined a better start, winning the Monte-Carlo Masters and Barcelona Open. Undoubtedly, Nadal is one of the greatest to have played on the red surface.

If we compare Nadal's record with Djokovic and Murray in 2017, the Spaniard stands tall. The Serbian has had a dry spell in terms of trophies, except winning the Qatar Open in January. He was unable to make even the semifinals of competitions after his title win in January.

However, Murray has a better record than Djokovic this season. Though he did win in Dubai and reached finals twice, his performance has not been up to the mark as he lost to players like Albert Ramos Vinloas and Vasek Pospisil.

Murray and Djokovic should up their game if they are to maintain the top ranking in the circuit. Murray and Djokovic are ranked first and second respectively. Nadal feels the duo will come all guns blazing in future tournaments.

"They will be at their best level again. If they are world no. 1 and 2, there is a reason. If it won't happen in the next events, it will be in the following ones, and if it won't be like this, it will happen after. They will be back more soon than later, unfortunately for me," tennisworldusa.org quoted Nadal as saying.
